An open catalogue, kept by hand

Prompts, skills and MCP servers worth keeping

Promptea is part catalogue, part weekly paper. Anyone can publish. Every entry is read by a human before it goes live, and everything here is free to take.

Four shelves

Prompts

Ready to paste, written for a specific job. Copy, adapt, ship.

Skills

Instructions plus files that an agent loads only when it needs them.

MCP Servers

Model Context Protocol servers that hand an agent real tools and real data.

Tools

Scripts, configs and evaluation harnesses. The unglamorous half that decides whether the rest works.

From the desk

Reviews, guides and a weekly note on what actually landed. We install the thing before we write about it.

How publishing works

1. Ask for an account

Register as a publisher. We approve accounts by hand, which is slower and keeps the place readable.

2. Submit an entry

Title, what it does, what it needs to run, and the licence. Show the prompt or link the repository.

3. A human reads it

If it works and it is yours to publish, it goes live under your name. If not, you get a reason, not silence.
